Alexium Introduces Predictive Thermal Profile™ (PTP) Tool to Model Mattress Cooling Performance

Alexium International, a leader in advanced thermal management and flame-retardant solutions for the bedding industry, launched its Predictive Thermal Profile™ (PTP) at the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) Expo 2026.

The Predictive Thermal Profile is a modeling program that generates theoretical cooling performance data based on selected bedding components enabling manufacturers to understand and compare the thermal behavior of an entire mattress system before it reaches the market.

Traditional cooling claims in the bedding industry often rely on short surface-contact tests. The Predictive Thermal Profile analyzes cumulative thermal performance across layered mattress constructions, including foams, fabrics, phase-change materials and flame-retardant systems.

Alexium stated that the platform is designed to help manufacturers support cooling claims with data as retailers and consumers increasingly scrutinize product performance.
