Lubrizol Expands Biomass-Balanced TPU Portfolio with New Sustainable Offerings

Lubrizol Advanced Materials has introduced four new biomass-balanced products to its Estane RNW TPU portfolio, furthering its commitment to sustainable solutions in the materials industry. These additions offer equivalent quality and performance to Lubrizol’s standard petroleum-based resins but come with a significant environmental advantage: a reduction of up to 59% in product carbon footprint.

The new grades are now commercially available, with the Estane RNW60 ZHF90AT2 grade specifically suited for flame-retardant cable applications. Rogerio Colucci, Lubrizol’s Business Director for EMEAI, emphasized the company's focus on sustainability, stating, “Lubrizol is leading sustainability by providing solutions like Estane RNW TPU and Estane ECO TPU, aligning with our customers’ carbon reduction goals through innovative material replacement projects.”

The new biomass-balanced products reflect Lubrizol’s collaborative approach with clients and its alignment with emerging market trends.
