Johns Manville has expanded its Corbond portfolio of SPF products by introducing a new high-yield open-cell spray foam, HYOC. According to the organisation, it is appropriate for interior applications in industrial, residential, and commercial environments.
The new product is highly sprayable and emits minimal odour. It also has a high yield, averaging 20,000 board feet (1858 board metres) when sprayed onto a clean, dry, and sound OSB engineered wood substrate at 75°F (24°C).
The company stated that its SPF products provide excellent thermal efficiency, as well as effective control of both air and sound.
“JM Corbond open cell SPF insulation covers gaps and voids to virtually eliminate air leakage, and it can exceed the performance of traditional fiberglass insulation,” it said.
“This positions JM as a fully competitive manufacturer in the spray foam market,” said Tom Calzavara, Johns Manville’s senior manager for SPF and technical services.
