Huntsman Expands TPU Distribution Partnership with WOBATEK Kunststoffvertriebs GmbH

Global chemical major Huntsman has expanded its long-standing distribution partnership with WOBATEK Kunststoffvertriebs GmbH, enhancing access to its thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) elastomer portfolio in Central and Eastern Europe. Under the new agreement, WOBATEK will distribute Huntsman’s AVALON®, IROGRAN® and IROSTIC® TPU products in Austria, Poland, Southern Germany, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.

Founded in 2000 and based in Sinzheim, Germany, WOBATEK is a specialist in engineering plastics for industrial applications and has been collaborating with Huntsman since 2009. The extended partnership reflects both companies’ shared commitment to innovation and market growth, leveraging WOBATEK’s strong regional network and customer base. Huntsman’s TPU portfolio offers advanced performance characteristics: AVALON® delivers exceptional abrasion resistance and flexibility for footwear and industrial uses; IROGRAN® is a versatile family of elastomers suitable for injection moulding, extrusion, hot-melt and adhesive films, used across technical, automotive, apparel and footwear sectors; and IROSTIC® provides high adhesion for solvent-based and hot-melt bonding in footwear, textiles and automotive applications.
