Solina Expands its Flavour Innovation Capabilities with the Acquisition of Epicurean Butter

Solina has acquired Epicurean Butter, a Denver, Colorado-based developer and manufacturer of flavoured compound butters and customised flavour solutions that serve food manufacturers, foodservice operators, and retailers in the United States.
The acquisition broadens our dairy innovation capabilities by bringing additional expertise in flavour creation, quick product innovation, and tailored culinary solutions.
Epicurean Butter is well-known for its agile product development, culinary knowledge, and unique compound butter solutions. Compound butters blend butter with herbs, spices, cheeses, and other high-quality ingredients to provide ready-to-use flavour solutions that allow companies to bring restaurant-quality flavour to market fast and consistently.

The acquisition expands our culinary innovation platform by bringing Epicurean's experience in flavor-forward dairy applications together with Solina's broader culinary and beverage capabilities. We will work together to open up new prospects in retail, catering, and food processing, as well as provide clients with a greater selection of customised solutions.

Epicurean Butter will continue to operate from its Denver location as a center of excellence for butter and dairy innovation within Solina USA. CEO Stephen Owens and his current executive team will stay in place.
