PepsiCo launches Christmas crisp tastes, including Gingerbread Doritos

PepsiCo's Doritos Gingerbread, the brand's first-ever limited-edition seasonal flavour, will add a sweet twist to the savoury snack aisle this Christmas.
Doritos Gingerbread, available from October 6th, mixes the brand's trademark crunch with the warming spice of gingerbread.
According to PepsiCo, the novel flavour mix intends to blur the limits between sweet and savoury eating, resulting in category disruption and impulse purchases during the peak holiday trading season.
The limited-edition Doritos version is part of a larger seasonal lineup that includes two new Walkers tastes, Emmental Cheese and Beef Wellington, both available in five-pack multipacks. Meanwhile, Sensations Honey Glazed Ham has returned to shops in 150g sharing packages, after high seasonal demand in recent years.
"Christmas is a time of togetherness and joy, and our festive snack range is designed to reflect that," said PepsiCo's marketing director, Rob Pothier. "With bold new flavours like Doritos Gingerbread, Walkers Emmental Cheese and Walkers Beef Wellington, we're tapping into consumer curiosity for special flavours and formats while supporting retailers in driving sales during the festive season."
The limited-edition range will be available starting October 6th. Walkers 5-pack Emmental Cheese and Walkers 5-pack Beef Wellington will each cost £2.15, while Sensations Honey Glazed Ham will be available in a 150g share bag for £2.50 and Doritos Gingerbread in a 180g share bag for £2.50.
