Omya Launches Global Sales and Distribution Unit for Specialty Materials

Omya, a leading global minerals and chemicals company with operations in over 50 countries, has announced the launch of a new business unit dedicated to the sales and distribution of speciality materials.

Headquartered in Switzerland, Omya Speciality Materials brings together a diverse portfolio of pigments, binders, additives, and life science ingredients from top manufacturers, complemented by the company’s own extensive range of mineral-based products.

With a strong emphasis on value creation, the new unit aims to deliver comprehensive, one-stop technical solutions to customers worldwide through its global sales network for leading suppliers.

Omya Speciality Materials will operate alongside Omya Performance Polymer Distribution, which was established in early 2025 to serve the global performance polymer market following Omya’s acquisition of Distrupol.
