Neveon introduces a new, eco-friendly PU foam for mattresses

Foam specialist Neveon has introduced Foam hybrid Endura, a new product that, according to the manufacturer, generates 70% fewer emissions than conventional HR mattress cores. Thirty percent of the raw materials used to make the product's polyurethane foam are renewable. Even after extended and heavy use, the foam retains dimensional stability comparable to traditional high resilience foam, which weighs 52–70 kg/m3. This is despite the foam's lightweight composition of 38 kg/m3.

“The innovative mix of raw materials used in the production of foam.

Hybrid Endura reduces the quantity of the materials required to manufacture mattress cores to 15.4kg,” said Karl Keplinger, the company’s key account manager for living and care.

Neveon claims that the foam's high rebound properties ensure even pressure distribution in all sleeping positions, relieving pressure on the intervertebral discs and enhancing sleep quality. Moreover, the foam's high air permeability aids in controlling humidity and heat. The lightweight nature of foam means that less material is required to make a mattress.
