Zotefoams has expanded its technical capabilities with its first fully recyclable foam range, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability, carbon reduction, and circular economy solutions. The new range includes closed-cell, non-crosslinked Polypropylene (PP) and Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) foams, both manufactured using Supercritical Foaming Technology. These foams offer exceptional resilience, low dielectric properties, and are fully recyclable, adding significant value to Zotefoams’ portfolio.
PP foam boasts outstanding dielectric properties and excellent insulation, making it ideal for high-frequency housings and EV battery cells, where it minimizes compression stress and supports battery life. With high stiffness at low density, it is lightweight, flame-retardant (UL-94 HF-1), and versatile.
TPU foam is lightweight and highly durable, with exceptional resilience, making it ideal for applications such as military mats and backpacks, where weight and robustness are key requirements.
We are looking forward to introducing our full range of uniquely lightweight, durable, pure and consistent foams at this year’s Foam Expo Europe. At the core of our business is our belief in the superiority of our products, offering unrivalled material properties that distinguish us in the market and, crucially, unlock the success of our customers. Our ongoing commitment to innovation enables us to push the boundaries of technology to create new products and refine existing ones – this ensures that we remain at the forefront of technological advancement and gives customers ongoing access to innovative products and solutions
Additionally, Zotefoams showcased its Ecozote® Sustainability Range, featuring closed-cell, crosslinked low-density polyethylene (LDPE) foams made with 30% recycled material. The Ecozote LDR, containing pre-consumer waste, is widely used in protective packaging, while the new Ecozote PE/R incorporates 30% post-consumer recycled content, certified by EU-Certplast. The fine-cell, matte black finish makes it ideal for luxury packaging applications.
