Ylang Ltd. has completed the acquisition of Ravetllat Aromatics, taking full ownership of the Spanish fragrance and flavour ingredient manufacturer and marking a significant milestone in its long-term growth strategy within the global flavour and fragrance industry.
The transaction concludes Ylang's investment journey that began in 2019, when it first acquired a majority stake in the company. With the remaining shares now secured, Ravetllat Aromatics becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Ylang, enabling the company to accelerate its strategic expansion while maintaining its independent identity and customer-focused approach.
As part of the ownership transition, Silvia Ravetllat has stepped down as shareholder and President of the Board after more than three decades of leadership. Ylang stated that the acquisition is designed to create sustainable long-term value by supporting Ravetllat's continued international growth, strengthening its fragrance and flavour operations, and enhancing innovation across its portfolio.
The acquisition also reflects a broader trend within the global flavour and fragrance sector, where strategic investors are increasingly focusing on sustainable growth, operational excellence and specialised ingredient capabilities rather than rapid portfolio turnover.
