Wixon Completes $25.6 Million Expansion of Milwaukee Flavour Manufacturing Facility

US-based flavour and ingredient manufacturer Wixon has completed a $25.6 million expansion of its Wixon West manufacturing facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, strengthening its production capabilities for custom flavour solutions and food ingredients.
Announced on 27 October 2026, the project began in autumn 2025, more than tripled the facility's operational footprint and created 110 new jobs. The expanded facility now covers more than 350,000 square feet and is one of Wixon's three blending and flavour production facilities in the Milwaukee area.
The upgraded site includes five packaging lines, including a new high-speed line, segregated blending suites, enhanced quality control and analytical facilities, and expanded warehousing and distribution capabilities.
The investment also enabled Wixon to acquire the remaining portion of the property and modernise its manufacturing infrastructure. The expansion is expected to increase production flexibility, improve operational efficiency and support growing customer demand across the food, beverage and nutritional industries.
Wixon manufactures custom flavours, seasoning blends and flavour technologies, alongside contract packaging services for food manufacturers. The project reinforces the company's manufacturing presence in southeastern Wisconsin and provides additional space for future capacity expansion.
