Turpaz Buys German Flavor Company Schumann

Turpaz Industries has bought German flavor firm Schumann & Sohn GmbH. This is Turpaz's fourth acquisition of the year 2024.

The Schumann firm, founded in 1948, currently has a production and development facility in Karlsruhe, Germany. The company's portfolio includes flavor solutions for food and nutritional supplements, with a focus on sweet flavors. Schumann sold 6.7 million euros within the first nine months of 2024.

The purchase of Schumann is a continuation of Turpaz’s global expansion strategy and strengthening of its position, whilst entering the sweet flavors market in Germany. We recognized the potential for growth based on the customer base and distribution channels of both companies. Leveraging the synergies between the companies will allow Turpaz to utilize the competitive advantages of both companies and accelerate the rate of organic growth.
