TechnoNICOL Announces New Stone Wool Production Facility in Ryazan Region

Ryazan, Russia – June 30, 2025 — TechnoNICOL, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of construction materials, has unveiled plans to build a new plant for producing stone wool in the Ryazan region of Russia. The move is part of the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its insulation materials portfolio and expand domestic manufacturing capacity.

The plant, which is expected to be completed by 2026, will significantly boost TechnoNICOL’s stone wool output, a key material used in thermal, sound, and fire insulation across residential, commercial, and industrial construction.

AAccording to company representatives, they will outfit the facility with modern energy-efficient equipment and adhere to strict environmental standards. The investment also promises to stimulate local employment, creating hundreds of new jobs during the construction and operational phases.

TechnoNICOL currently operates over 60 production sites both in Russia and internationally. This latest expansion underscores its commitment to meeting rising demand for high-performance, eco-friendly building materials, especially amid growing attention to energy-efficient construction practices in Russia and neighbouring markets.
