Symrise Delivers Strong H1 2026 Results, with Growth Momentum Accelerating in Q2

Symrise AG, delivered a strong first-half performance in 2026, with organic sales growth accelerating in the second quarter despite a challenging macroeconomic environment. The improved momentum was driven by sustained demand across its Food & Beverage, Consumer Fragrance, and Aroma Molecules businesses, and was supported by a recovery in North America and Asia Pacific.


For the first half of 2026, Symrise reported sales of €2.539 billion, with organic sales growth of 2.0%, which accelerated to 4.5% in the second quarter. The company posted adjusted EBITDA of €553 million, resulting in an adjusted EBITDA margin of 21.8%. Earnings were supported by profitable sales growth and ongoing efficiency initiatives, although partially offset by investments in the ONE SYM transformation program and higher logistics costs stemming from geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Meanwhile, Adjusted Business Free Cash Flow increased by 450 basis points to €347 million, representing a 13.7% margin on sales.

2026 Business Outlook

Symrise reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance, continuing to expect organic sales growth of 2% to 4%, an adjusted EBITDA margin of 21.5% to 22.5%, and an Adjusted Business Free Cash Flow margin above 14%.


The outlook is supported by the faster execution of the ONE SYM Transformation program, strong project momentum with key customers, a strong pipeline of innovative solutions, and steady demand across its core end maby improving operational efficiency and driving higher,rkets.
