Sika has launched two advanced plants in Singapore and Xi'an, China, enhancing local production capabilities. The Singapore facility focuses on mortar production, while the Xi'an plant offers a full range of Sika products, including tile adhesives, cementitious waterproofing, and flooring solutions. These expansions enable Sika to better meet local demand while cutting logistical distances.
Sika's highly automated Singapore plant will serve the city's six million residents, meeting strong demand for innovative and sustainable construction solutions in one of the world's most densely populated countries.
In China, the new Xi'an facility strengthens Sika’s presence in the northwest, following the recent opening of another plant in the northeast. With this expansion, Sika now operates 35 manufacturing sites across the country.
Expanding our operations in Singapore and China is an important step in our overall growth strategy in Asia. The new plants will greatly enhance our ability to serve our customers with innovative solutions in these two key markets. In addition, both facilities will contribute to Sika’s sustainability performance, incorporating energy-efficient processes and environmentally friendly materials in their operations.
