Kyrgyzstan's economy is one of the fastest expanding in Central Asia. The average yearly GDP growth rate is expected to be around 7% between 2026 and 2030. Industrial construction projects, as well as investments in infrastructure and energy, are key drivers of growth in the construction industry. These receive major backing from initiatives run by international financial agencies, notably the World Bank, and create consistent demand momentum in the building industry.
Against this environment, Sika is expanding its footprint in Kyrgyzstan by establishing a new national subsidiary. Direct market access will allow the company to participate in construction projects at an early stage, tailoring its product portfolio to local market requirements and customer wants, and thereby increasing consumer benefits.
