Sika has strengthened its global footprint by launching three new manufacturing investments in China, Brazil, and Morocco, reinforcing its Local-for-Local strategy. These developments align with the company’s goal to provide local production backed by global expertise and sustainable innovation.
In China, Sika expanded its existing site in Suzhou, a fast-growing city of over 12 million residents. The upgraded facility specializes in high-viscosity polyurethane technologies used in automotive, construction, and industrial applications—enhancing durability and design flexibility.
In Brazil, Sika extended its site near Belo Horizonte to include admixture production. This expansion boosts the company's presence in Minas Gerais, the country’s top concrete-producing state and a key region for the mining sector.
In Morocco, a new mortar and admixtures plant has been opened near Agadir. Strategically located to serve southern Morocco and neighboring markets, the facility is equipped with advanced technologies to meet rising demand and improve local service and availability.
By expanding our local manufacturing capabilities, we are not only improving responsiveness—we are building a resilient, sustainable foundation for growth alongside our longtime customers and partners.
Sika’s latest site expansions support long-term growth in China, Brazil, and Morocco—markets forecast to grow over 4% annually through 2028. China’s push in infrastructure, green energy, and tech is reshaping its construction sector. Brazil is seeing renewed demand across key segments, while Morocco’s strategic investments are turning it into a regional development hub. Sika’s localized presence ensures it’s well-positioned to meet this rising demand with agile, market-specific solutions.
