Shandong Yinuowei New Materials Co., Ltd. has recently applied for a patent entitled “Rigid Polyurethane Foam Materials for High-Temperature Resistant Pipelines and Their Preparation Methods”, published under the number CN121319307A with an application date of December 2025, according to information released by the State Intellectual Property Office.
The invention falls within the field of polyurethane technology and relates specifically to rigid polyurethane foam materials designed for use in high-temperature resistant pipeline insulation. The patented foam system is prepared from component A and component B at a mass ratio of 100:(130–150), with component A comprising a carefully optimised formulation of polyether polyol A (7–36%), polyether polyol B (13–35%), polyether polyol C (13–37%), catalysts (3–8%), additives (3–14%), dispersant (0.3–4.2%), foam stabiliser (1.3–2.5%) and a pentane blowing agent (6–15%), while component B consists of polymethylene polyphenyl isocyanate.
By adopting a specific polyether compounding strategy, incorporating nano-scale zirconium dioxide and dispersants, and optimising the ratio between the two components, the invention significantly enhances the foam’s high-temperature resistance, compressive strength and dimensional stability, making it well suited for demanding pipeline insulation applications. Established in 2008 and based in Zibo City, Shandong Yinuowei New Materials Co., Ltd. is a chemical materials manufacturer with a registered capital of RMB 60 million.
According to Tianyancha data, the company has participated in 57 bidding projects, holds 388 patents and possesses 102 administrative licences, reflecting its strong technical foundation and active engagement in innovation within China’s polyurethane materials sector.
