Pure Flavour has acquired a new, cutting-edge almost 200,000-square-foot distribution centre in Romulus, Michigan.

This facility will act as a central distribution hub for the company's fresh, greenhouse-grown produce, drastically reducing food miles, increasing shipping efficiency, and improving overall customer service.

Pure Flavour is realigning its supply chain by condensing its Texas distribution to a single centralised distribution hub in Edinburg, Texas.

The company's decision to centralise its Texas distribution network and construct a new facility in Michigan are part of a larger attempt to optimise its supply chain to better accommodate rapid development and customer demand.

"This is an exciting step forward in our growth strategy," stated Jamie Moracci, CEO of Pure Flavour. "The new Michigan distribution centre allows us to serve customers more quickly and sustainably, while our internal teams benefit from streamlined operations and improved logistics."

All employees impacted by changes to the Texas distribution network have been offered continued employment at the company's other locations, as well as severance compensation and career transition support.

Pure Flavour remains committed to being a responsible employer and a forward-thinking supply chain partner as it expands in the future. The company hopes to start exporting from its new Romulus distribution centre in summer 2026.
