Pearl Polyurethane Expands into India with New Systems House in Dahej

UAE-based Pearl Polyurethane Systems is strengthening its presence in India by establishing a systems house in Dahej, Gujarat—an important industrial and port hub with a strong chemical and petrochemical industry base. Financial details of the investment remain undisclosed.

Scheduled to become operational by the end of the year, the new facility will offer polyol formulation capabilities to serve sectors such as construction, transportation, refrigeration, automotive, and footwear. Additionally, it will produce pre-polymers for CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers) applications in its initial phase.

“Our business is experiencing strong growth, and this expansion supports our increasing commitments in the Indian market,” said CEO Martin Kruczinna at PU Tech 2025 in India. “Following recent expansions in the UAE and the launch of our new production site in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, this move positions us closer to our Indian customers with a local manufacturing base.”

Looking ahead, a second phase of development in Dahej is already in planning. Over the next two to three years, Pearl intends to integrate backward into polyester polyol production, positioning the site to become one of its largest global operations.

The company is also broadening its footprint across the Middle East and North Africa. Its sixth systems house, located in Ain-Sokhna, Egypt, is expected to open in late May. Pearl also extended its global sales reach with the launch of offices in Melbourne, Australia, and Santiago, Chile in July 2024.

Pearl currently operates three facilities in the UAE, and one each in Saudi Arabia and Vietnam, along with multiple international sales offices.
