PARFEX Breaks Ground on Major Sustainable Expansion at Grasse Industrial Site

On 8 January 2026, PARFEX laid the foundation stone for the extension and renovation of its industrial site at the Bois de Grasse Business Park, marking a major milestone in the French fragrance house’s long-term growth and sustainability strategy.

Acquired by Croda in 2021, PARFEX is recognised for its focus on sustainable and natural-certified fragrances, and the new investment is designed to provide more efficient, future-ready facilities aligned with its industrial ambitions. The project, which will be delivered by general contractor GSE, will be carried out in two phases.

The first phase will focus on the industrial extension of the site, including the installation of a state-of-the-art robotic volumetric dosing system and the creation of new production areas, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and automation.

The second phase will involve the comprehensive renovation of the existing laboratories, offices and shipping zones, modernising the entire site to meet the highest standards of performance, safety and sustainability.

According to Christian Galucci, General Manager of PARFEX, the investment forms part of a long-term strategy launched in early 2023 with the construction of the company’s new Creation Center, which was inaugurated in June 2025.

Backed by the strong and ongoing support of its parent company Croda, the new industrial facility will be built to the most advanced technological and environmental standards and will feature cutting-edge robotics, enabling PARFEX to triple its production capacity. The project also reaffirms PARFEX’s commitment to the Grasse region and its unique fragrance ecosystem, reinforcing the company’s position as a leading player in sustainable fragrance creation.
