OrCon Acquires Viva Foam

OrCon Industries, a material handling specialist, has acquired the Viva Foam division from Jamestown Container, along with the majority of its assets and equipment based at the Lyons, New York facility.

Jamestown Container has owned the custom foam packaging facility in Lyons since acquiring it from HP Neun in 2016. The Viva Foam division focuses on fabricating convoluted foam packaging, padding, and custom shapes designed for diverse shipping and packaging applications. It utilizes a range of polyurethane (PU) foams, including anti-static varieties.

After nine successful years of operating Viva Foam, we have made the strategic decision to focus more on our core corrugated packaging business. We are confident that OrCon Industries is the right company to carry this division forward, as they share our values, commitment to quality, and dedication to customer service.
