Axillon Aerospace Polyurethane Division Acquired by Mearthane

Mearthane Products Corp. has announced the completion of its acquisition of the industrial composites operations of Axillon Aerospace, a move that expands Mearthane’s capabilities in polyurethane moulding and composite manufacturing.

The Cincinnati-based operation brings more than 80 years of expertise in polyurethane and composite materials, further reinforcing Mearthane’s position as a global technology leader in advanced polyurethane solutions.

This acquisition represents the latest milestone in Mearthane’s multi-year growth strategy, under which the company has completed five acquisitions over the past four years. The Cincinnati facility serves a broad portfolio of blue-chip industrial customers across high-growth markets, including material handling, automotive and specialist equipment.

Manufacturing and operations will continue at the existing Cincinnati site, ensuring continuity for both customers and employees. Mearthane also plans to invest in commercial capabilities, operational enhancements and capacity expansion to support the next stage of growth.
