Global flavour and fragrance leader MANE inaugurated a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Woodlawn, Ohio, on April 10, 2025, a major expansion of its existing campus. Representing an investment of over $100 million, the 100,000-square-foot plant significantly enhances MANE’s production capacity for liquid flavours, with an annual output potential of up to 15,000 metric tonnes. The facility is designed to support the company’s strategic growth in North America over the next two decades, particularly in the beverage sector.
Amy McDonald, president of MANE’s North American flavour division, emphasised that the expansion bolsters the company’s market position and reinforces its commitment to customer-centric manufacturing. The facility integrates advanced robotic technologies to boost automation, contributing to greater efficiency and responsiveness.
Environmentally conscious by design, the plant will source 30% of its energy from solar power. It also enables a threefold increase in large-tank compounding capacity and doubles MANE’s ability to produce emulsion-based flavour systems. The new site aligns with MANE’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals, underscoring its focus on sustainable innovation and long-term competitiveness in the liquid flavours market.
