MANE Set up a Fragrance Creative Centre in Bar-sur-Loup

Mane is investing € 45 million in a new Fragrance Design Centre at its headquarters in Le Bar-sur-Loup. The company laid the foundation stone for the 8,900-square-metre facility on September 21. The facility is scheduled to open in 2028 and will house approximately 250 employees, including perfumers, evaluators, scientific experts, development teams and technical staff working on fragrance creation for the company’s consumer goods business.

The center is intended to consolidate the technical, evaluation, and creation phases of fragrance development under a single roof. It will collaborate with Mane's other creative centers worldwide to deliver services to customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

“This moment represents an important milestone for our family-owned company. It reflects both our strong ties to Le Bar-sur-Loup, where Mane’s story began, and our confidence in the future of fragrance creation,” Ms. Samantha Mane, CEO of Mane, said a in a social media post.

The investment further solidifies Mane's history in Grasse, where the family-owned company was founded by Victor Mane over 150 years ago, who transformed locally cultivated flowers and plants into perfumery raw materials. What began as a local distillery has since transformed into a global flavour and fragrance business with 54 R&D centers and 31 manufacturing sites in 41 countries, employing over 8,500 individuals.
