Global fragrance and flavor manufacturer MANE has expanded its historic Cikarang site in Indonesia, reinforcing its long-term commitment to supporting the fast-growing Southeast Asian market through enhanced logistics infrastructure and sustainable operations.
Designed with sustainability at its core, the new building incorporates several energy-efficient features, including a roof structure and optimized airflow system that naturally reduce indoor temperatures without the need for electric air conditioning.
In line with its environmental objectives, the expanded site also houses a fully operational wastewater treatment plant serving both the production facility and logistics center, with a treatment capacity of 350 cubic meters, helping improve water management and operational sustainability. To further enhance biodiversity and reduce the site's environmental footprint, MANE planted approximately 30 fragrant trees, including cinnamon, cajuput, clove, and pepper, which are expected to contribute to local cooling.
