MANE Acquires Cvista
MANE acquired Cvista, a supplier of citrus oil fractions and natural essences based in Riverview, Florida, in the United States. As a result of the acquisition, a MANE global Citrus and Beverage Center of Excellence will be established in the United States, driven by a shared strategic and technological vision.
Citrus oil processing is a speciality of Cvista, which is renowned for its advanced expertise in the production of high-value natural ingredients, particularly for the fragrance and flavour industry. The acquisition will fortify MANE's position in the citrus industry, a critical area for innovation in flavours and beverages. This will be achieved by integrating the two companies' specialised expertise and capabilities to expedite the development of citrus and beverages and to sustainably support growth.
MANE will capitalise on Cvista's teams, facilities, and expertise to establish a global Citrus and Beverage Center of Excellence in Riverview, Florida. With the addition of Cvista's team to MANE, the organization will acquire valuable citrus knowledge and experience.
The U.S.-based center will also facilitate the establishment of a dedicated global citrus platform, accelerate the development of breakthrough beverage solutions, and bring MANE closer to strategic citrus sourcing regions. The center also presents opportunities to capitalise on MANE's recent partnership with Arzeda to produce and commercialise ViaLeaf™ Reb M technology. This partnership combines MANE's complementary strengths to develop innovative solutions for the expanding functional and reduced-sugar beverage markets.
