Lubrizol Announces Multi-Million-Dollar Ohio HQ Investment

Lubrizol has announced a multi-million-dollar investment to enhance its global headquarters in Wickliffe, Ohio, as the company approaches its 100th anniversary in 2028. The investment is aimed at strengthening collaboration, innovation, and long-term growth.

The project will integrate employees and capabilities from Lubrizol’s Brecksville location into the Wickliffe campus, bringing more than 1,000 Northeast Ohio employees together at a single site. This consolidation is expected to improve teamwork, accelerate decision-making, and support innovation through increased in-person collaboration in a modernized workplace.

The investment also reinforces Lubrizol’s commitment to Northeast Ohio, contributing to economic activity and community engagement in Lake County. As one of the region’s largest employers, Lubrizol’s expanded headquarters will continue to support global operations and customers across nearly 100 countries.

The investment at Lubrizol’s Wickliffe campus includes upgraded laboratories, expanded innovation capabilities, and the addition of a Lubrizol Experience Center. Building renovations will enhance the employee experience with interactive workspaces, renovated on-site cafeterias, and a multipurpose area for meetings and events. Construction will be carried out in phases over the next two years.
