LANXESS Announces Adipic Acid Price Increase

Speciality chemicals company LANXESS has announced an immediate increase in its adipic acid prices, with the adjustment averaging EUR 150 per tonne and applying to customers worldwide.

The decision reflects continued and cumulative cost pressures, driven primarily by substantially higher raw material and energy costs.

Despite extensive efforts to offset rising costs and maintain stable pricing, a price adjustment is necessary to ensure the long-term reliability and sustainability of supply.
