Krahn Chemie Benelux to Distribute Mitsubishi Chemicals' Bio-Based Polyols

Krahn Chemie Benelux has entered into an agreement to distribute bio-based polyols from Mitsubishi Chemicals Europe, enhancing the ongoing partnership between the Hamburg-based company and Mitsubishi Chemicals.

The deal includes the distribution of Benebiol, a bio-based polycarbonatediol used in various polyurethane applications like adhesives, coatings, elastomers, fibers, sealants, and thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs), which are found in products such as artificial leather, functional textiles, and consumer goods. Additionally, the agreement covers BioPTMG, a bio-based poly(tetramethylene ether)glycol, which is utilized in the production of polyurethane elastomers.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Mitsubishi Chemical Europe, expanding our distribution portfolio to include their high-quality products,” said Cristian Groenewegen, MDat Krahn Chemie Benelux. “This collaboration aligns with our commitment to offering high-quality solutions to our customers in the Benelux region, and we look forward to a successful cooperation.”
