Kimpur, a polyurethane system manufacturer, has formed a partnership with Kobe Polyurethane.

Kimpur, the region’s leading polyurethane systems house by production capacity and sales, has made a strategic investment to support its growth. It has formed an 80% affiliated partnership with Kobe Polyurethane, enabling it to expand into new specialised product segments.

Kobe Polyurethane, with over a decade of manufacturing experience and an annual sales capacity of 10,000 tonnes, is known for its niche application products. Notably, around 55% of its portfolio consists of products not currently offered by Kimpur. This partnership will allow Kimpur to broaden its product range and strengthen its presence in complementary markets.

Commenting on the investment, Kimpur CEO Cavidan Karaca emphasised that the company’s growth strategy goes beyond increasing capacity, focusing equally on expanding its product range and entering new market segments. She highlighted that Kobe Polyurethane’s expertise in specialised product areas currently outside Kimpur’s portfolio adds clear strategic value. Karaca noted that by combining Kimpur’s strong manufacturing base, research and development capabilities, and international experience with Kobe Polyurethane’s technical know-how, the partnership is expected to support sustainable and profitable growth in both Türkiye and global markets.
