Kemin Food Technologies - EMEA Introduces Next Generation of OLESSENCE™ Natural Solutions

Kemin Industries, a global ingredient manufacturer, has expanded its OLESSENCE™ product line with two natural and sustainable product extensions: OLESSENCE™ P Dry and OLESSENCE™ G Liquid. The company aims to improve the quality of life for 80 percent of the world's population through its products and services.


OLESSENCE P Dry adds freshness to the meat and poultry market, while OLESSENCE G Liquid is suitable for a wide range of food applications, including sauces and dips. Both solutions will supplement the first-generation OLESSENCE™ B Liquid, launched last year for the baking industry. All OLESSENCE formulations are now available to food producers in the EMEA region.


OLESSENCE P Dry is a sustainable Mediterranean blend that combines two plant-based ingredients inspired by Mediterranean meals and biodiversity, while meeting modern consumer demands. It is a painstakingly crafted dry blend of plant extracts developed exclusively for the meat and poultry industries. 1


OLESSENCE G Liquid is a flavouring blend that provides a promising natural and clean-label alternative for improving sensory qualities. It improves the shelf life and quality of sauces, dips, baked goods, and other culinary products. The active ingredients in OLESSENCE G Liquid also help with colour protection, delaying enzymatic browning and enhancing consumer satisfaction. 2


The OLESSENCE line's distinguishing feature is its unique combination of natural flavourings and olive extract, one of the most well-known components among consumers. 3 The active chemicals derived from these natural flavourings are known not only for their sensory benefits, but also for their secondary antioxidant capabilities, which slow down product deterioration and improve shelf life.
