Huntsman Sells its Italian-Based Automotive Aftermarket Business

Huntsman Corporation (NYSE: HUN) announced today that it has sold Huntsman Gomet, based in Azeglio, Italy, to Trelleborg Group for €42.5 million (roughly $50 million), subject to standard post-closing adjustments. Gomet is a maker of moulded rubber and thermoplastic automotive aftermarket components that was previously part of Huntsman's Polyurethanes division and was bought by Huntsman in 2014 as part of the Rockwood acquisition. Gomet's revenue in 2025 was roughly €24 million. The proceeds of this transaction will be utilised to decrease outstanding borrowings.
