Huntsman Corporation Inaugurates its Expanded Operations in Hungary

Huntsman Corporation inaugurated its expanded performance products manufacturing facility in Petfurdo, Hungary, with operations having commenced earlier this year. The expansion enhances the company’s global production capacity, offering greater flexibility and advanced technologies for the polyurethane, coatings, metalworking, and electronics sectors.

With over five decades of expertise in urethane chemicals, Huntsman remains one of the world’s leading producers of amine catalysts. Demand for its JEFFCAT® amine catalysts continues to rise globally, driven by their widespread use in applications such as automotive seating, mattresses, and energy-efficient building insulation.

The project, supported by an investment grant from the Hungarian government, reflects the community's confidence in Huntsman and the joint commitment to future growth.
