Henkel Acquires Stahl

Henkel has completed the acquisition of Netherlands-based Stahl Group, a global provider of high-performance specialty coatings for flexible materials. Effective October 1, 2026, Stahl has officially become part of Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies business.

Carsten Knobel, CEO, Henkel, said that the acquisition strengthens Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies business, expands its technology portfolio and opens new growth opportunities. He highlighted Stahl as part of Henkel’s broader strategy to drive profitable growth.

Mark Dorn, Executive Vice President, Adhesive Technologies, Henkel, said that Stahl’s specialty coatings expertise, customization capabilities and sustainability focus make it a strong strategic fit. He added that the combination will create a broader solutions platform for customers.

With around 1,800 employees and €725 million in adjusted sales in 2025, Stahl strengthens Henkel’s portfolio across mobility, fashion, luxury, lifestyle and packaging markets.
