H.B. Fuller Expands its Portfolio of Specialty Adhesives

The largest pureplay adhesives company in the world, H.B. Fuller, acquired ND Industries Inc., a leading provider of fastener locking and sealing solutions and specialty adhesives to the automotive, electronics, and aerospace industries, among others.

It is anticipated that the acquisition will accelerate the achievement of H.B. Fuller's primary growth objectives, in line with the organization's strategic approach of actively directing capital allocation towards the functional coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomer (CASE) market segments with the highest growth rates and highest profit margins.

“Their products are a natural fit with our existing market segments and bring new technology to our portfolio — combining the benefits of an adhesive and a mechanical fastener within extremely demanding applications — resulting in a powerful advantage for our customers" says President and CEO Celeste Mastin.

H.B. Fuller would incorporate Vibra-Tite® products from ND Industries into its current portfolio of epoxy, cyanoacrylate, UV-curable, and anaerobic products as part of the acquisition.
