Givaudan has reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Eurofragrance, a pure play fragrance house based in Barcelona, Spain. Eurofragance is a fragrance creation house that specialises in the design and production of fine fragrances, as well as fragrances for personal and home care products. The company concentrates on high-growth regional markets and has a robust presence in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

This strategic alliance is a significant milestone in Givaudan's 2030 strategy, which is to enhance its presence and capabilities in local and regional markets to foster sustained business growth. The collaboration will allow both companies to provide consumers worldwide with distinctive, locally relevant fragrance experiences by integrating Eurofragance's entrepreneurial spirit and robust regional presence with Givaudan's global leadership and capabilities.

“Eurofragance is a respected player with deep roots in fine fragrances and strong relationships in high growth markets. By joining forces, we are perfectly aligned with our 2030 strategy for growth and our mission to continue shaping the future of fine fragrance creation.” Maurizio Volpi, President Fragrance & Beauty
“We are confident that partnering with Givaudan opens a new chapter for Eurofragance. Since our incorporation in Barcelona and throughout our international growth, we have built our company on passion, creativity, innovation and agility. This strategic alliance will allow us to reach new heights and continue innovating and creating exceptional fragrances.” Santiago Sabatés, Chairman of Eurofragance

The terms of the agreement will not be disclosed; however, Eurofragance's business would have contributed approximately CHF 185 million in incremental sales to Givaudan's results in 2025 according to a pro forma basis. The transaction's completion is contingent upon the completion of the relevant regulatory procedures.
