Givaudan Expands North American Presence with Acquisition of Belle Aire Creations

Givaudan, the global leader in Fragrance & Beauty, has announced the successful acquisition of Belle Aire Creations, a well-established US fragrance house recognised for its creative strength and strong relationships with regional customers. The acquisition aligns with Givaudan’s 2030 strategy to enhance its reach among local and regional clients while expanding its creative and innovation capabilities across North America.
Founded in 1982, Belle Aire Creations has grown from an entrepreneurial venture into an influential industry player, known for its emphasis on creativity, customer satisfaction, and continuous innovation.
Givaudan CEO Gilles Andrier emphasised that integrating Belle Aire Creations’ customer-focused market reach with Givaudan’s global creative and technological expertise will deepen the company’s engagement with the dynamic US fragrance market.
Maurizio Volpi, President of Fragrance & Beauty, highlighted that the acquisition underscores Givaudan’s commitment to delivering tailored fragrance solutions that reflect the diversity of the American consumer landscape, noting that Stacey David will continue to lead Belle Aire Creations to ensure continuity and sustained growth.
Belle Aire Creations’ CEO, Stacey David, remarked that joining Givaudan will allow the company to preserve its entrepreneurial essence and strong customer relationships while gaining access to global resources and expanded opportunities for innovation.
Although the financial terms remain undisclosed, Belle Aire Creations would have contributed approximately CHF 65 million in additional 2024 proforma sales, with Givaudan funding the acquisition through existing resources.
