GenAer Unveils Fuel-Efficient Industrial Generator for Spray Foam Applications
GenAer has launched an industrial generator specifically designed for spray foam applications and concrete lifting. The company stated that the PG22G is a more fuel-efficient, gasoline-powered unit with a life expectancy comparable to diesel generators. Unlike cheaper gasoline models that are not suitable for continuous operation, this generator offers a more durable option. Weighing less than 500kg, it is compact enough for installation in vans or trailers.
Powered by a 2.5L liquid-cooled Mitsubishi engine, the PG22G delivers 22kW of continuous power. It is also reported to achieve up to 50% better fuel efficiency than air-cooled gasoline generators, due to its electronic fuel injection system and lower rotational speed.
“We heard from many customers who were tired of replacing lower-cost generators so frequently,” said Terry Wipf, GenAer’s sales and service manager, and one of the company's founders. “In the spray foam and coatings business, if your equipment isn’t working, you’re not working. That’s why we engineered an entirely new product.”
