Alexandria Insulated Panels Company (Alex Panel) has inaugurated a state-of-the-art insulated panel factory in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), marking a significant milestone in Egypt’s industrial expansion. The launch ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, reinforcing the government’s commitment to supporting the manufacturing sector.

Developed with an investment of EGP 700 million, the facility spans 31,336 square meters and is designed to enhance Egypt’s production capabilities for insulation materials. The factory boasts an impressive annual output capacity of one million square meters of polyurethane panels and 1.1 million square meters of rock wool panels. This new venture is expected to generate 120 job opportunities, contributing to employment growth in the region.

The establishment of this factory aligns with Egypt’s broader vision to bolster local manufacturing and promote economic development within strategic industrial zones. By increasing the domestic supply of high-quality insulated panels, Alex Panel aims to support various sectors, including construction, refrigeration, and energy-efficient infrastructure projects.

With this expansion, Alex Panel strengthens its position as a key player in Egypt’s insulation materials industry, catering to both domestic and international markets.
