DSM-Firmenich Introduces Noviwest and Panavora as Two New Standalone Companies

dsm-firmenich has announced Noviwest™ and Panavora™ as the names of two standalone companies planned to emerge from the divestment of its Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) business to CVC Capital Partners.
Announced on 22 October 2026, the new structure will establish two businesses with distinct strategies and complementary capabilities. Noviwest will focus on essential ingredients, including vitamins, carotenoids and aroma ingredients. It will build on more than a century of expertise and a strong European vitamin manufacturing network.
Its priorities include product quality, supply security and resilience across the food, feed, fragrance and pharmaceutical industries. Panavora will concentrate on animal nutrition and health solutions. Its portfolio will include premix distribution, innovative feed additives, precision services and digital products.
The company aims to improve animal health, livestock performance, feed efficiency and sustainability through science-based solutions and data-driven innovation. Under the planned transaction, CVC will acquire the businesses, while DSM-Firmenich will retain a 20% equity stake in each company.
Completion remains subject to regulatory approvals, employee consultations and other transaction conditions. Until completion, the ANH business will remain part of DSM-Firmenich and continue serving customers.
The separation marks an important step in DSM-Firmenich's strategic transformation and will create two focused businesses serving global nutrition and health markets.
