DIC Materials Corporation New Price Update for Unsaturated Polyester & Vinyl Ester Resins

DIC Materials Corporation, has announced a new price for its unsaturated polyester resin (UPR) and vinyl ester resin products, was effective April 8, 2026.

The revision comes amid rising petrochemical feedstock costs driven by escalating tensions in the Middle East, which have impacted the supply–demand balance of key raw materials such as crude oil and naphtha. The resulting increase in procurement costs has made it difficult to sustain the existing pricing structure.

The company stated that the price adjustment is necessary to maintain stable product supply and ensure business continuity. It also noted that temporary supply adjustments may be implemented depending on future market conditions and raw material availability.

Price revision range: Unsaturated polyester resin 130 yen/kg or more

Vinyl ester resin 160 yen/kg or more
