Brenntag and Sudarshan Partner to Drive Colour Innovation in Asia-Pacific Beauty and Home Care Markets
Brenntag, a global leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Sudarshan Chemical Industries. Under the agreement, Brenntag will distribute Sudarshan’s cosmetic-grade pigments and speciality colourants for beauty and personal care applications across Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. In Australia and New Zealand, Brenntag will provide tailored colour solutions for the home care, industrial, and institutional markets, allowing customers to use innovative colour technologies that meet a wide range of formulation and performance requirements.
Sudarshan is a leading global producer of pigments and colourants, with generations of expertise in colour science. Its cosmetics portfolio comprises organic and inorganic pigments, effect and pearlescent pigments, and dispersions designed for makeup, skincare, hair care, and other personal care applications. Its key brands—Sumicos™ cosmetic pigments, PRESTIGE™ effect pigments, Sumicair speciality colour solutions, Cosmenyl® pigment dispersions, and Sanolin™ dyes—offer a wide range of shades and visual effects, from subtle natural tones and vibrant colours to striking pearlescent finishes.
Under the agreement, Brenntag will distribute Sudarshan’s cosmetic pigments and colourants throughout Southeast Asia, as well as its dyes and pigments for home care applications in Australia and New Zealand. Customers will also gain access to Brenntag’s regional Application & Innovation Centres, which provide formulation expertise, application testing, and market insights to help accelerate innovation and develop differentiated beauty and home care products.
