Arkema has finalized the acquisition of Dow's Flexible Packaging Laminating Adhesives business, a global leader in packaging adhesives, with annual sales of $250 million. This strategic move strengthens Arkema's portfolio in flexible packaging, positioning the Group as a major player in the food, medical, and industrial lamination markets.
The acquisition, valued at $150 million, will integrate with Bostik's existing operations, enhancing its product offerings and market reach. Arkema anticipates $30 million in EBITDA synergies within five years, supported by $50 million in implementation costs over the next three years. This expansion aligns with Arkema's growth ambitions and market recovery trends.
